Is there a “proper” view of God? Isn’t it possible we all have a view of God which is legitimate? If we acknowledge a singular view of God, won’t that simply conform to the view of the alpha ideologue at the top of the hierarchy, and suppress legitimate contrarian points of view?
It’s always possible that can happen. “There’s nothing new under the sun.” This type of thing has happened before, and it will happen again. This is something we need to be careful to defend against.
The awareness of this potential problem does not answer the question though. So…what should our view of God be?
