3. Internal Conflict

It’s referred to as “carrying a cross” for a reason. It’s an instrument of death we transport for our own destruction. There’s a perverse sort of irony in it. To a degree, that’s the point. On top of the challenges of trying to live life, pay bills, etc., we’re faced with coming face to face with ourselves. If you want a REAL challenge, overcome yourself.

Realizing we have a need to align our subjective selves with an objective reality is traumatizing enough. When we add to that the need to align our internal self with our external perception of ourselves and resolve the inconsistencies in accord with objective reality-we have an impossible task worthy of John Wick.

Should we even attempt to undertake this? HOW do we overcome it?
